“No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.” (http://www.un.org/en/documents/udhr/#atop) This is important because, no persons should have to endure that kind of pain and torture for uneducated reasons. People are all human and if you don’t want someone to do that to you, then why do it to them?
“Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.” (http://www.un.org/en/documents/udhr/) This is important because, if we did not have freedom of speech then we would not be individuals for we would be the same boring people with the same opinions and thoughts!
“(1) Everyone charged with a penal offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defense.” (http://www.un.org/en/documents/udhr/) This is important because, this allows people to fight for themselves and to prove their innocence. If there was no innocent until proven guilty, then what would be the point in trying to prove yourself when everybody will still believe you were guilty in the end?
“(1) Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to just and favorable conditions of work and to protection against unemployment.” ((http://www.un.org/en/documents/udhr/) This is important because, you shouldn’t be able to force someone to work a place they do not want to work. People have a right to choose and these days its hard with discrimination, sexist people, nationality, religion, and many more!
I think that your number 1 is important because people shouldn't have to tell people what to do.
